Our members are of all ages, with many different talents and a variety of interests. We meet the second Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise specified, and participate in the placement of historical markers, naturalization ceremonies, scholarship awards, parades, grave markings, library displays, school programs, and veteran patient activities.
We invite you to contact our registrar for additional information about DAR, eligibility, and for assistance with completing your membership application.  Prospective members are invited to attend a meeting; please contact our regent for more information.
Are you eligible to join?  There are only two requirements:
1) Be a woman at least eighteen years of age
2) Provide proof of direct descent form an American Revolutionary War patriot

We would be delighted to help you search for your patriot ancestor.  Do you already have a patriot proven?  Our registrar can help you search the DAR Patriot Database to check for proven patriots to date.

There is a valuable guide, American Genealogical Research at the DAR, available for assistance with the application process.  Our registrar has this guide and many other resources at hand to help document your lineal, bloodline descent.

Your first step will be to complete a DAR pedigree chart as fully as you can. Then contact our chapter or use the prospective member request form on the national web site:

We welcome you to visit our chapter and we look forward to hearing from you!
